User access serves the purpose of assigning various required Roles to particular User. As admin you need to select the appropriate/ correct Role to be assigned as well as define the level of access for the particular user with the assigned role.
- Username: This field is automatically populated with the name of particular user for whom the User Access is created
- Role: Select a role (existing in the system) for the particular user. Tip (save time): as Users are many times assigned to several roles, admins may select multiple roles at a time a save them instead of processing each role separately. Note that in case of selecting multiple roles, the level of user access needs to be the same.
- Level: Define the level of user access. Select options:
Global - this level of user access contains all objects for selected type of user access. |
Company - this level of user access is restricted to a particular Company. |
Object type - this level of user access is restricted to a particular Object type. |
Object - this level of user access is restricted to a particular Object. Tip: use this set up whenever possible as this one ensures the most precise user access management and avoids issues and incidents with unauthorised access of users.) |
- Company: Select company ID (existing in the system) from the list.
- Object type: Select Object type ID (existing in the system) from the list. This field will only be accessible when Object type is selected in the Level field.
- Object: Select Object ID (existing in the system) from the list. This field will only be accessible when Object is selected in the Level field.
