# Input Mask

Input mask can be used on object template and sub-grid template. Currently are supported two types of input masks - **fixed** and **regex** (advanced input mask). See the following syntax for input mask:

| Type | Optional | Mandatory |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Number (0-9) | # | 9 |
| Lower case (a-z) | b | a |
| Upper case (A-Z) | B | A |
| Alfanumeric (a-z, A-Z, 0-9) | x | w |
| Anycharacter | % | \* |
| Decimal | ###.## | &nbsp; |
| Email | email | &nbsp; |
| IBAN | IBAN | &nbsp; |

**Example**

- Czech tax ID: CZ99999999##
- Czech zip code: 999 99
- 5 digit number with 2 decimals: #####.##​
