Definition of company and object. This enables split and sort of the objects in categories. Company and object type can be also used to define user access under User management.

## Company

Definition of the company information. Company can represent various split inside Xeelo.

**Navigation**

Admin -\> Companies & Types -\> Company

**Usage**

- Split of legal entities
- Difference between production and test version
- Internal split of the organisation (if data are not shared between)

**Fields**

| Name | Description | Info |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Company | Name of the company / part of the company. | up to 50 characters |
| Order | Order of the company in the list of companies in various menus | Integer |
| Active | Flag indicating if company is active. | &nbsp; |
| Color | Font color / Object type - font white, color defining background / Object - font black, color defining color of icon | &nbsp; |
| Company | To be picked from availabe list of icons | &nbsp; |

**Notes**

Please note that [Object](http://forum.xeelo.com/t/object/91) can’t be shared between multiple companies. Company can be used in user access management.

## Object Type

Object type helps to group similar objects into categories that are used for sorting and navigation.

**Navigation**

`Admin -> Companies & Types -> Object type`

**Usage**

- Split of the objects into logical categories such as master data, transactional data, …
- Grouping of similar objects such as dimensions, account payables, account receivables, …

**Fields**

| Name | Description | Restriction |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Icon | To be picked from availabe list of icons | row 2, cell 3 |
| Color | To be selected from list of colors defining proper styles we want to use - Company - font color / Object type - font white, color defining background / Object - font black, color defining color of icon | row 1, cell 3 |

**Notes**

Same as for Company is valid also for object types and it is that one [Object](http://forum.xeelo.com/t/object/91) can be assigned only to one object type. Object type can be used to defined access rights.
